Enchanted River

- Hinatuan may be a sleepy town but it has emerged in recent years as one of Surigao del Sur’s top tourist destinations, thanks to the discovery of the Enchanted River. Just how enchanting is this river? One, its waters are so clear that the riverbed is visible at any depth. Two, it appears in different shades: aquamarine in the shallow areas, blue in the slightly deeper parts, and dark blue in the real deep sections. And three, a school of huge fish surface every 12 noon and 3 p.m.—just as a soft hymn recording is played—to feed and forage for an hour. For most of the day, however, they are nowhere in sight

Libuacan Cold Spring

- This rustic and unspoiled beauty offers serene and refreshing break from the humdrum of city living. Had it not for a minimal development it is almost virginal and pristine. The spring is less famous compared to the nearby Enchanted River of Hinatuan, but this is equally awesome. With its cool and crystal clear water, shady surroundings, and bucolic beauty, it simply offers fun and relaxation.
